Page 1- Start
I have been a big gamer since I was young. I started my gaming journey with the Gamegear, Pokemon, and Rollercoaster Tycoon. As time passed, I started playing Starcraft and Soul Calibur with my father and brother. After playing so many games and being amazed at what people could create I decided that I would like to somehow enter the gaming industry.
This pushed me to pursue a Computer Science degree after I graduated from high school. Unfortunately, I quickly found out that this wasn’t the path for me. After a semester, I decided to leave computer science and go into something with design. In my new program at George Brown College I learned how to use various design programs and tapped into art and graphic design for the first time. I became especially interested in 3D modeling and dreamed of being hired by a game studio to create environments for games. After graduation and working full time I then started courses at Humber College to learn more about 3D design and get an in depth look into programs that are used as the industry standard.

While I was in school, I was asked a lot if my parents and brother were supportive of my decision to go down the design route for school. My family have not only been supportive but have given me critiques about my work and pushed me to do better. In return, I helped them pick out colours when we repainted the rooms in our house! The friends I have made along my journey are another reason I've been able to make it this far. I have been very fortunate to have such a strong support system.

As TGW said in his previous post “You Need Experience To Get Experience”. After working for a year, there was an interview opportunity with BabyNimbus. I received the good news and was hired! During my time here I have been encouraged and pushed out of my comfort zone in terms of design.I have developed my proficiency and familiarity with advertising, marketing, maintaining social media platforms, web design, and also digital art. While learning many things, I was also pushed by TGW to pursue what I wanted to do in terms of 3D design and has extended to photography, and video editing. The BabyNimbus team has encouraged me in my pursuits and I'm very happy that I am able to be a part of their journey.
I can’t wait to see what happens next!
